2019 Methodist Build

Join us this Spring

Austin Habitat for Humanity and Methodist churches and individuals in the Austin area have been coming together for over twenty years to build a home for a deserving family in our community. This year will be no exception as we head to East Austin to build a home for the Rosales family. Through faith in action, by our volunteers and our donors, Habitat Austin and local Methodists are working together to eliminate substandard housing- one family at a time.

Thank you for joining us as we build strong, stable and self-reliant communities!

A donation that is meaningful provides the opportunity for your community to volunteer and engage with the Habitat homeowner on the construction site.

Laura Rosales has a big family – she’s a single mom of 5 – and a small apartment. She knows her family needs room to grow, but she hasn’t been able to afford a home on her pay as a dispatcher. But now her motivation, and the generosity of our Methodist Build sponsors, have led the family to where they belong: in a safe, stable home of their own. Laura is grateful for this opportunity and excited to play with her kids in her own backyard.
