Sponsorships

Sponsorship Opportunities

Home Sponsorship: $65,000
The Home Sponsorship program allows groups to provide all the funds and volunteers necessary to build a house. Typically your organization provides approximately 20-25 volunteers for each of 9 workdays who will work alongside a future homeowner as they build their Habitat house from the ground up. We know that groups vary in physical and financial resources and we're happy to work to identify partnership opportunities or to create a specific volunteer and funding program for your group.

Partner Home Sponsorships
Your organization contributes a fraction of a full sponsorship fee and partners with one or several corporate or faith-based sponsors to build the home. Volunteer requirements are defined by the partnering groups.

Home Repair Sponsorships: $5,000
Our Home Repair program was created as another avenue to help eliminate substandard housing. The program serves the needs of homeowners in the 60% MFI income range or below whose homes are in need of repair. Home Repair Sponsors have the unique opportunity to prevent long term residents from being displaced by helping them preserve their homes.

Team Habitat: $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000
Team Habitat is our newest sponsorship program. It allows groups to participate in an exciting day of team building on an Austin Habitat home. Habitat provides building materials, training and supervision.

Austin Habitat for Humanity partner families benefit in many ways from the financial support of sponsorships, and we know that you, your family or your organization will be enriched by the experience of supporting a hard working, low-income family in the construction of a new home or in the preservation of their existing home.

Companies benefit from the opportunity to involve employees in positive team-building activities, which often boost morale. Participating in a construction or home repair project creates increased visibility in the community, as well as improves company image by demonstrating an acceptance of corporate responsibility.

Faith communities benefit from the opportunity to put their faith into action, see God outside the four walls of the church, and experience spiritual growth. The experience also creates fellowship among church members, or in the case of several churches partnering together, among congregations with different beliefs.

Families and friends who sponsor a home benefit from the opportunity to deepen personal relationships with one another while working side-by-side with a family in need.  

And ALL sponsors get to meet new people, learn new skills and have fun!
