Building Materials

Austin Habitat for Humanity owns and operates the first Habitat ReStore in the nation and a second store in north Austin.  The Austin stores have become a national model for the practice of recycling new and used building materials in an affordable outlet available to the general public.  Sales of the materials are used to fund Habitat homebuilding projects and to underwrite operating costs of the Austin Habitat programs.

The ReStore accepts drop-offs of reusable building materials.  If you would like to drop off your building materials, you may do so at The ORIGINAL ReStore, located at 310 Comal.  The ReStore is open to take your donations from 9am-6pm Monday through Friday and 8am-5pm Saturday.
