In-Kind Giving

Volunteer Crew Leader David Rehberg arranged for Austin Roofing and Siding to provide equipment to help Austin Habitat with its metal roofing needs

Are you interested in donating unused building materials or new/ gently used tools?
Does your company not need excess, discontinued, display, or scratch and dent products?
Are you interested in using your professional skills on site with Austin Habitat?

In-Kind donations are one of the most important sources of donations to Austin Habitat for Humanity. Whether materials or service, these donations help us cut costs, in turn allowing us to build and repair more homes in partnership with families in need.

Donate Materials to our Construction Program
We have gratefully accepted in-kind donations ranging from roofs to cabinets in our work creating and preserving homes. Making an in-kind gift offers a special satisfaction, as donors can actually see their donated materials become a part of someone’s home.
All donated materials must meet strict guidelines to ensure that we are building quality homes and treating our families equally. For more information about in-kind donation guidelines, contact [ Robin Kamperman ].

Donate Materials to the ReStore
The ReStore purchases and accepts donations of new and gently used building materials and sells them to the community at a reduced cost. All proceeds from sales go to AHFH for building and repairing more homes. For donation guidelines, visit the ReStore website.

Donate Skilled Labor and Construction Services
Austin Habitat for Humanity is a unique affiliate because volunteers complete the majority of tasks in the construction and repair of homes. However, there are a few types of services that volunteers are not able to perform such as earthwork, sewer & water installation, concrete, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. By donating these services, you can utilize your skills to help those in need.
Any company or individual willing to partner with Austin Habitat for Humanity by donating services must be licensed, insured, and committed to completing the entire project. Please contact [ Ben Bishop ] for more information about donating construction services.
