Thanks to your generous donations, in 2010 we were the TOP TITHING AFFILIATE IN TEXAS. We contributed $135,000 and served 30 international families in need.

Since 1985, we have tithed more than $465,000 to serve more than 157 families abroad.

Every donation to Austin Habitat for Humanity has a worldwide impact. As a member of the global Habitat for Humanity family, we at Austin Habitat make a commitment to tithe a portion of the donations we receive to support another Habitat affiliate abroad.

Through Habitat for Humanity International’s tithing program, every time we build a house in Austin, we donate $3000 to affiliates in Tamaulipas, Mexico and Guatemala. To put that into perspective, a single Habitat for Humanity home in Guatemala costs an average of $4500.

As long as the world needs safe, decent housing, our Habitat affiliate will continue to address substandard housing throughout our global community. Together, we’re making a difference, here and abroad.
