About Us » Rural Chapters
At Austin Habitat for Humanity, we believe that all of our neighbors deserve a simple, decent place to live...including our rural neighbors. In 2006, we created a chapter in Blanco County, just west of Travis County, and in 2010, we created a chapter in Caldwell County, just south of Travis County. By expanding into rural areas outside of Austin, we can serve more families in need of affordable shelter. Check back here for regular updates on the activities of our Blanco and Caldwell chapters.
